Communion to the Sick & Homebound
Every Wednesday, Fr. Sistare brings Holy Communion to those at the Apple Rehab, with the 2nd Wednesday of each month including the celebration of the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass at 10:30am.
Twice a month, on Sunday mornings, Extraordinary ministers of Holy Communion bring Holy Communion to the elderly, sick and homebound.
Extraordinary ministers of Holy Communion for private and nursing homes undergo an additional one-hour training session. Experienced ministers accompany new ministers on their first visits. In total, home visits take no more than one and a half hours, including 'socialization' time, which the homebound clearly enjoy.
